About Us

Dr. John Agapis

Dr. John Agapis is a native of Chesterfield County. He is a graduate of James Madison University where he studied computer science and biology. He is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University’s Medical College of Virginia School of Dentistry. He has joined his father in dental missions in Mexico and Guatemala where he offered dental services to orphaned children. Dr. John has also been an active participant in the annual Dentistry From the Heart event held every February in our office, offering free dental care to the less fortunate in our community. He enjoys helping both children and adults achieve their dental health goals by helping his patients understand their dental problems and treatment options. He is a member of the American Dental Association and the Virginia State Dental Association.

Dr. Tony Agapis

Dr. Tony Agapis has practiced dentistry in Chester for 30 years. He is a graduate of the University of Maryland and the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. He completed a dental residency at Rochester General Hospital and advanced training in dental sedation at Albert Einstein School of Medicine in New York and presently volunteers part-time as a clinical instructor at the VCU School of Dentistry. Dr. Tony has participated in mission trips to Mexico and Guatemala and has hosted one of the largest  dental charity events in the country, Dentistry From the Heart, in his Chester office for the past five years. As a longstanding member of the American Academy of General Dentistry, he has completed hundreds of hours of continuing dental education and brings back this new knowledge and technology for the benefit of our patients. He is a member of the American Dental Association and the Virginia State Dental Association.
